Understanding the "C" Rating
The “C” rating of the battery is the rated discharge rate. To determine the discharge rate you multiply the battery capacity by the “C” rating. For example: A battery 1000mAh capacity with a 15C rate (1000mAh x 15 = 15000mAh or 15Amps continuous discharge); A battery 2500mAh capacity with a 15C rate (2500mAh x 15 = 37500mAh or 37.5Amps continuous discharge) |
